The Old Ones
In 11,99,070,058 B.F.A. (Before First Age) when the Omniverse was still young, the Great Chaos brought forth the Ohngwe (pronounced ON-gweɪ) and the BhetAmi. The BhetAmi were the children of the Great Chaos whereas the Ohngwe were unique malignant beings of great power from another reality and various dimensions. They are often thought of as demiurges but they have little to do with the creation of the Omniverse, or at least multi-verse that the Omniverse is a part of.
Ohngwe are powerful, primordial beings of ancient power who have nearly-god like powers and have established a preeminence among supernatural entities. Each of these great old ones have a unique appearance and specific set of abilities, and control variation portions of the Omniverse and have self-proclaimed titles. They were among the first created entities when the Great Chaos came into existence. They are all extensions of this chaos as children are extensions of their parents.
Most are awakened entities, incarnations of mortal beings, some powerful beings of various species, and still others are ascended beings that are so old and powerful that they transcend the constraints of mortalkind.
Some Ohngwe are evil, others good, and many neutral in their outlooks. Many are regarded as deities, who can grant abilities, spells and other powers to those that follow or worship them. Ohngwe are at the very least dangerous to contact and at the very worst deadly and only those of sheer insanity would dare to contact them.
While not immortal, Ohngwe are nearly impossible to kill. Just like powerful Demon Lords, or the avatar's of the deities, they may only be destroyed under very specific events, conditions or through the use of a specific nemesis item.
Billions of years ago when the Ohngwe were allowed to exist within the Omniverse where they took up residence through out the blackness of the new Omniverse. There they willed into existence worlds and spawned the the 3981 children known as the Hem-Bahram.
Along with the BhetAmi, they were the cause of terror and horror through out the known Omniverse as the the Dark Lord Azahak and the Great Chaos spread through all the known realities corrupting the fabric of nature, time and space. Nearing defeat by the Darkness and the Great Chaos, The First Son Elal and The First Daughter Gishra called to Olorhun, the True God, to return to the Omniverse to defeat the Great Chaos as they fought against the legions of Titans, BhetAmi, Ohngwe and the Hem-bahram.
In the end, Elal and Gishra cast hundreds of the Ohngwe out of the known realities and dimensions of the Omniverse, others fled to hide in other worlds, stars and other dimensions that they created to escape the wrath of the First Children.
