Olorhun

Before there was the Ancient Mists of Time, before the creation of the Omniverse there existed only Olorhun, or the One. Olorhun is the supreme being, creator and principal entity that has existed before time and space and will continue to exist when the Omniverse has ended and time has stopped. Olorhun is ultimate overlord of all things seen and unseen through out the Omniverse and the Celestial Realms. Olorhun is omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, but has little care in the direction of the Omniverse and leaves most of this work and dealings to the Great Three Overlords.

The One exists out of time and space even for the gods. There are no temples or places of worship for the One, as the One, while the creator god, does not need worshipers to exist, the One exists eternally, just as the Great Chaos exists eternally.

What transpires between the gods and the worlds is of no concern to the One, so long as the Great Chaos remains locked away in the core of the world of Kralis and that the gods of Ta Los and the Omniverse adhere to the Laws of Creation.

Yet all of creation from deities to fiends, demons and primordials are subject to Olorhun and any final decisions rendered through Olorhun's decisions.

Sages believe that from time to time, Olorhun takes physical form to walk among the Omniverse and its inhabitants. Olorhun has taken on the form of a Fhen Khanur standing 12 feet tall, appearing ageless with no remarkable features. Olorhun has also taken on the form of an aging and wizened Aelwyn, and has also taken on the form of a Syliph preferring the female form of an Eyri.

Olorhun has little care in the "day-today" going-ons of those that live within the Omniverse, and doesn't care what the deities of the Omniverse do so long as they uphold their domains of control and do not ignore their worshipers. It is believed that he fully places the rise and demise of the known Omniverse on the deities themselves, and holds the three Overlords: Elal, Gishra, and Azahak responsible for the actions of all the other deities.

Those deities that did not adhere to their domains, felt the effects of Celestial Justice as set by Olorhun, and these punishments were very harsh. In some cases the judgement was death of the deity or the transfer of the deity's domain to another, effectively making them a "dead god". But in the purpose of the Great Balance, Olorhun was also known to restore deities to their former domains of control or raise up a worthy mortal to the position of control over a domain.

Olorhun, unlike any other entity in the Omniverse, did not need the worship of mortals or even be recognized by them in any manner. Despite Olorhun's "hands-off" philosophy with much of the Celestial Realms, Olorhun was the only entity that could or allow any being, demigod or mortal, to be raised to godhood.

While Olorhun did not require or need worshipers, numerous cults have risen through out the hundreds of millennia which were lead by ministers called the Cardinals of Mist. These Cardinals receive no powers or spells from Olorhun, though Elal and Gishra provides them with access to many divine powers/spells as they need. But the Cardinals understand that these come from Elal and Gishra and not the One. These cults tend to be more sagacious in philosophy and outlook than actual religious in nature.

While the creation of the Omniverse is credited to the existence of the Omniverse, it was Olorhun that is the progenitor from where the Omniverse and the Great Chaos were brought forth into existence.
