Originally started with Clan Enclave, then became an Acolyte, then a Bounty Hunter. Currently Rayche fancies himself as a RealmWalker.

Equipment

Rayche keep numerous demi-planes available for him to access whatever gear he may need. The largest piece he owns is the Vault, a multidimensional library and research facility. The Vault is hidden in a dimension within a dimension but it accessible through out the Omniverse as a store known as "The Maji".

Magical and Technological Items

The Soul Breaker: The Soul Breaker is a powerful sentient uzunkhol sword that grants its user +5 Successes to their attack and +30 to their total damage. It scores a critical hit against Planar, Supernatural and Aberritions with a roll of 01 to 30, and scores critical hits against all other beings on a roll of 01-25. On a natural critical hit of 01 the sword has the ability to trap the soul of the target it strikes. Non-Ohngwe are granted a Willpower check at a TS of 5 to avoid this, Ohngwe must make a Willpower check at a TS of 20, otherwise their soul is trapped within the sword forever or until released by Rayche.

The Soul Breaker is sentient weapon with the following Mental Stats:

Abilities: Alteration (3 charges per day), Blasting, Breath Weapon (Acid); Disintegration (30’ range; 30’ Cu.Ft., Living Targets gain Stamina TS vs. 3 or be disintegrated), Elemental Control (Fire: AR 10), Repulsion (50% reflect magic)

Spells: It is able to cast spells from Fire, Earth and Air elements as a standard caster type using its Spellcraft to do so. It currently has 17 spells that it cast, but as access to a total of 30 total spells that it has learned since its creation. It does not pay for Fatigue like mortal casters, rather it can cast these spells once per day.

The Soul Breaker purpose it to capture the souls of Ohngwe and oppress them into service of its master. Which meant it desired to bring ruin to all Ohngwe, killing their worshipers,destroying any other their works and foiling their plans and machinations. The Sword also seeks to destroy the Crown of Azhaka and the Left Hand of Udarak. This obsession is well known to Rayche and when Elal is not in his avatar form, he allows the sword to seek out these items through others it finds worthy. When it is needed by either Rayche or Rayche/Elal it instantly teleports itself to him anywhere in the Omniverse. It can take up to d10 turns to arrive.

It speaks to its users, other than Rayche, via telepathy and is known to have an intensively curious personality. While it is very serious in its mission during its time away from Rayche/Elal, it is a jovial item that loves to conversate with its current wielder.

Staff of the Stars: The Staff of the Stars is made from a rare type of black iron wood that is encrusted with diamonds that are used to store spells and power the staff itself. The staff is 6'-6" in height. The staff can be used as a staff-weapon (5 Base Damage; F10; +20 WeaponSkill (Agi)) in addition to its supernatural capabilities.

The staff as number of potent abilities. It is considered to have 12 successes in the use of the following spells:

  • Ball Lightening x3/day
  • Blink x4/day
  • Durzha x3/day
  • Elemental Bolt (Fire, Electrical, Spirit) x4/day
  • Energy Globe x4/day
  • Force Beam x3/day
  • Forcefield x3/day
  • Insubstantial Form x4/day
  • Teleport (Including Planetary) x3/day

Additionally, when the staff strikes any magical item or a mortal being it triggers its innate ability: Dispel Magic as per the spell, but it also causes spellcasters to make an Intelligence check at a TS of 10. Those that fail loose access to their Arcane Touch ability for 24 hours. Additionally, the staff has a 25% chance of draining a single target it struck of all its Fatigue, which could not be

Additionally, the staff absorbs any spells cast directly at it.

Should the staff ever be broken or destroyed it will release all of its spells at once within a 30' radius dealing 10d10x10 points of damage to everything in the area. A staff of power could also be willfully broken to release all of its charges within a 30-ft area. Upon being broken, the staff had a 50% likelihood of transporting the wielder to another plane, or else the wielder would be destroyed by spell energy.[3]

Earring of Protection: This gold-red steel earring is stylized to look like a bolt of lightning. It is located in Rayches right ear. It grants him a +20 Armor Bonus.

Earring of Shadows: This black iron earring is a simple band. It is located in Rayches left ear. Three times per day it allows him to travel from one shadow to another shadow that is within 100 miles of his location.

Earring of Spell Storage: This silver earring is a woven piece of silver strands. It is located in Rayches left ear. While he is able to cast many different spells, some easily than others, this earring of Spell Storage allows him to cast the following spells with 15 successes, three times per day as a Basic Action:

Earring of Breath: Located in Rayches right ear, this earring continual recharges his Fatigue Points at a rate of 30 per hour.

Earring of Fire Breath: The third earring in Rayches right ear is a deep red with yellow tinges. With this earring Rayche is able to breath a gout of sticky fire that has a range of 30'. The breath deals 3d10x20 points of damage each use. The fire will stick to any object dealing 24 points of damage per turn for 3d10 turns as it burns itself out. The fire can only be put out with a Dispel Magic or if the target is able to create an anti-magic area.

Earring of Speed: The third earring in Rayches left ear is a brilliant blue with white streaks. With this earring Rayche is able to quadruple his movement for 10 turns. This can be used three times per day. Its use does not cause Rayche to expend any Fatigue while its in use.

Combat/Tactics

When it comes to fighting, combat and tactics, Rayche approaches all three with caution. Not because he is fearful, but rather he prefers to have all the "doors and corners" covered so that he can help ensure a victory. When he goes toe-to-toe with an opponent, he is known for honorable, both in his life and his dealings with opponents. He would prefer an opponent surrender and yield than give up their life, a tenet of Elal that Rayche holds close to his heart.

Allies/Companions

Rayche, through out his long life, has counted many among his allies. His closest ally and companion is Bishop Sandstone, Knight of Dardura. Though Bishop is not immortal as Rayche seems to be, he has been blessed with ling life and has found himself often in the company of Rayche. Rayche also counts the Knights of Elal, the Company of Nine, the Jhakaul the Cat Lord and Lady Nasyn.

Foes/Enemies

Through out is long life Rayche has made many more foes and enemies than he has allies and companions. Among the most dangerous are the Brotherhood of Secrets, the Kaurkrutoxu, Lady Mysic, the League of Obrixas, many Great Old Ones as well as numerous Demon Lords.

Appearance

Rayche is large for a Dejah, standing at 6'11" and is of average lanky build. He is often dressed in a plate armor chest over purple cloth shirt which is covered by a white long sleeved jacket. Of particular interest was what he wears to cover his legs. It is a combination white pants with and adjoining white skirt with purple pleats, the pants are neatly tucked into blackish-red high boots. He is fond of being bald, but has a dark gray beard with streaks of black. Each of his ears are pierced with three rings each, all of which are magical in nature.

Personality

Rayche Blackstone was born as a mortal in 26,125 B.F.A. in the newly founded nation of Kish, and had humble beginnings as the apprentice of his clans Heilark. During a mission to locate some medicinal herbs and plants the young heilark was attacked by a giant cave bear. He barely survived the attack, and made his way through the mountains, the bear stalking him. Broken, badly beaten and bleeding to death he tumbled into a pit that lead him to a long forgotten shrine of Elal. Bleeding to death he reached out to the deity pleading for help. His plea was heard by the Archangel Khontash who arrived to find the young Rayche breathing his last. The Archangel intervened noting that "it would be a waste of this life to just die." But before the Archangel breathed life back into the dead Rayche he offered him the choice to live and become the avatar of Elal. Rayche agreed and swore an oath of immortality to the Archangel to become Elal's avatar. Rayche rose from the dead and granted him the title, Grand Maji.

Rayche has grown into being the avatar of Elal as well as the Grand Maji of Elal. Both roles are important to the deity as well as those of the church as he represents the connection between the arcane and the divine. He has lived most of his life in mystery, attempting to stay out of the "noses of others". He rarely talks about his past as the Grand Maji and the avatar of Elal. During the times when he is not acting as the avatar he has spent his entire life mastering the arcane arts, as well as a number of other skills of the social and combat types. He has mastered every component of his craft from teleportation to astral projection. He spends most of his time protecting Kralis from mystical and other dimensional threats, and he monitors the powerful undead through out the Prima Terra.

He is a series of paradoxes. He is steadfast, but entirely unpredictable; merciless, yet kind. He commands respect and inspires fear.

Over the 30 thousand years of his live he has become a superb strategist and tactician, forming alliances with other powerful individuals to utilize their resources for his ultimate goal protection of the Omniverse. However, he is not above making mistakes as the church of Azhaka and several other entities have sabotaged his plans several times, something Rayche admits is due to underestimating their abilities. Despite his mercilessness, he has a deep affection to his children and is willing to guide them.
