The Great Chaos
At the beginning of all space and time, in what the great sages call the Time of Creation, the totality of what is known as the Omniverse was brought into being by the entity known only as the Great Chaos as it emerged from the Ancient Mists of Time. It is an ancient, powerful entity that exists beyond the power of normal reality, beyond even the powers of the known and unknown pantheons. It is only matched in power by Olorhun or the One.
It is an amorphous monstrosity formed from the very fabric of nothingness that existed before the Omniverse was created. As a creator entity it is impossible to destroy. Its presence alone is incomprehensible to most mortals, it has little regard for the consequences of its actions that it has on the Omniverse. So destructive and vile was the existence of this entity, that Olorhun when their battle was finished Olorhun created the world of Kralis as a prison, locked away at the very core of the world.
Despite its unbreakable prison, it has a great deal of influence on the mortal realms even beyond that of the world of Kralis. It is worshiped as god by many mortal cults, both human and otherwise. These cults can be utilized by the Great Chaos in a number of ways: some are dedicated to the spread of it's influence, others seek to expand the beings' coven of servants, while still more simply wish to see their master freed from imprisonment. For the most part, these cults have no real understanding of the nature of the entity which they hold in such reverence.
While it is greatly limited in its activities within the Omniverse and the Celestial Realms, it is capable of extending its reach across time and space to influence the weak minded and weak willed, and use its respective cults to assist in this matter.
In aeons past, the Great Chaos with its Children the Ohngwe and BhetAmi along with their myriad servants went to war with the pantheon known as Olorhun for reasons known only to itself, though most sages believe that it was for the ultimate control of its creation: The Omniverse. Ultimately bested by Olorhun, the the Great Chaos was not destroyed but instead imprisoned by the power of the Olorhun into the world of Kralis. While it lies in a state of semi-dormancy, some of its essence has seeped into the Omniverse bringing with it the chaos and vileness that it sprung from at the beginning of the Omniverse.
It is believed that the Great Chaos is represented in the mortal realms through immortal being known as Vhijra Vhile, an agent of chaos. Vhijra was of the Byris people on Kralis, and has a human was easily seduced by the promised power and immortality that the Great Chaos could bestow. As an immortal warrior in the service of the Great Chaos through out the the ages he has been an influential figure through out history, manipulating the mortal world and many of its greatest conflicts. He has the foremost brilliant mind of planning, a master of combat, having survived and adapted through out the eons of the Omniverse. Vhijra Vhile is an extremely dangerous and formidable opponent.
