History of Kralis

So with a writing of this magnitude where does one start telling the tale of the world ? Many creators begin with speaking about their species, or perhaps about their character classes, others begin with describing their calendars or their weather. Others begin with a small novella, and still others start the description of their world from the point of view of a single character. There is also the question of the big picture: do you start with large strokes and then paint with fine colors or do you start with the small details and branch out to large spaces and regions?

For the world of Kralis let’s begin with its history: Kralis is a world that has existed, in some form, from the very beginning of creation. A great majority of the origin of Kralis, indeed, the whole of the Celestial Omniverse is a deep mystery to all the species.

There are clues that have been laid at the feet of chroniclers, sages and those that explore ancient areas in the search of information, ancient texts, and long buried secrets of the ancient past. Many of the sage authors of this time-line have made well placed theoretical and academic assumptions based on their studies and exploration of various species’ legends, lore and knowledge that has been passed down for eons. The following is the most accurate time-line of Ta Los, and by extension Kralis, Omniverse and the Celestial Realms, that has been put together by the scholars of Dardura Sheva.

The divisions of the History of Kralis are called Ages. There are currently five ages: Age of Dawning, Age of Mortals, Age of Chaos, Age of Kingdoms, First Age. As with most histories the beginning and end of each Age is based on some very major or significant event in that age. Those that keep these records area always adjust a date, entering more information or entering a new historical date. Most all the history listed and used here is focused on Ta Los, but that is not to say that there will not be additional histories included as they come to light.
